The first solar energy project in the country was implemented in 2012 for the benefit of the Tubas Electricity Company. SATCO implemented this project and it was inaugurated in the presence of the Palestinian Prime Minister and Minister of Energy.
The company launched solar energy projects after this project to provide homes and industrial projects with photovoltaic stations to produce energy and reduce dependence on traditional energy.
Since 2017, SATCO started partnerships with many municipal councils, institutions and universities to implement large projects for the production of solar energy, as it carried out design, implementation and financing works, provided that the cost of these projects is recovered from the prices of energy sold to these municipalities and institutions.
Among the qualitative projects that the company has designed and implemented:
The Electricity Authority project, the Ojja municipality project, and the An-Najah National University, the Al-Arma project in cooperation with the Beita municipality, in addition to many similar projects that have been completed at a high level that reflects the efficiency and professionalism of the company in this field.
The company welcomes more investments in this field in cooperation with electricity companies, the local council and national institutions, in addition to private projects such as factories, farms and homes.
