Since the company’s establishment in 1992, SATCO, through a professional team of engineers and electrical technicians, has been providing various services related to electricity distribution projects and rehabilitation stations projects. SATCO’s services in this field have been a lever for the electricity distribution and transmission sector in Palestine, and one of the most prominent services provided by SATCO in this the field:
- Studies and planning: SATCO provides a design service for technical studies for electricity distribution projects to help local authorities and electricity distribution companies study electrical networks and plan the most appropriate projects. These studies include the rehabilitation and maintenance of electrical networks, expansion of the electricity grid scheme, in addition to increasing the electrical capacity that these networks support.
- Maintenance and rehabilitation of electricity distribution networks: SATCO provides this service through its specialized teams for the benefit of the various electricity distribution agencies in Palestine, and this service includes periodic and inspection maintenance of the electricity distribution networks in addition to the rehabilitation of the current electricity networks and enhancing its technical capacity through the use of the latest technologies used in Distribution networks. This service includes replacing electricity poles or cables with better and newer types, and technically developing networks so that they can accommodate new loads.
- Design and implementation of new medium and low voltage networks projects: This service is often implemented in the event that local authorities wish to expand the electricity networks and cover new areas as a result of the expansion of the structural plans.
- Transfer station projects: SATCO designs and implements these services for the benefit of local authorities or electricity distribution companies and the national transmission company. These huge stations feed large areas with electricity that is converted in these stations from medium voltage to low voltage, in preparation for distribution to the beneficiaries in Palestine. Among the most prominent projects undertaken by SATCO in this field are the substation in western Gaza, and the participation in the completion of substations in Surra, Jalameh and Tarqumiya in Hebron.
